Seeing Great Grand Monnie

Jacob's first visit to his great grandmother - we call her Monnie, so for Jacob she is great grand Monnie.

Other than going to the doctors office, this was one of his first trips out of the house.

Monnie was so proud of her new great grandson.

Jacob was all tired out after the visit.

Jake's First Super Bowl

This was baby Jake's first Super Bowl.

His daddy was just glad that mommy did not go into labor on Super Bowl!

Watching the game was very tiring for the little man.

So he had to take a nap.

But napping on daddy was the best!

Jacob's First Bath

This was Jacob's first bath.



He did not seem to mind the warm water running over his head...

but he hated the rest of it.

He was definitely unhappy about the whole ordeal!

Thank goodness mom was there to calm him down.

Jacob's Visitors

Jacob had a lot of visitors at the hospital. We feel so lucky to have such great family and friends in our lives. This baby is definitely loved!

Jacob In The Hospital

My friend told me I needed to set up a family blog (her blog is awesome). So she was kind enough to get me going - so although Jacob is now 6 months old, I have decided to go back and post some of his first pictures of Jacob and then I will be all caught up on our family blog...


Getting ready for my surgery - I was glad my mom was there as I was a little scared.

Tim is all set to go into the OR with me - I thought he was pretty cute in his scrubs.
