Hanging out at Aunt Joni's
Today was the first time that Jacob went over to auntie Joni's for a couple of hours. Tim went to the Cardinal's game with her hubby Chris and I had my cake decorating class. So auntie Joni was kind enough to watch the little man for us!
TJ took a shot at feeding Jacob lunch. Joni went out and got Jacob this booster chair to keep at her house so that we would not have to drag over ours whenever we come for a visit. It was really nice of her!
I think that things got a little messy but it appears that Jacob had a good time. He definitely liked his booster chair!
Joni took Jacob in the pool with her and the boys. She said that Jacob had a great time watching TJ and Jack swim and splash around.

Who's That Penguin?
My girlfriend let me borrow her son's penguin Halloween outfit so we could judge what size outfit we would need to get for Jacob.
OK, so I did not get the hat on right, but it was still pretty stinken cute!
Honestly I could not stop laughing. Jacob kept looking at me like I was crazy!
Baby's first Halloween is obviously not for the kid as they could care less as to what outfit they are in...it is for the parents! I think mom's more than dads!
We are thinking of a monkey, a lobster, or perhaps a lion. But Jacob still made a pretty cute penguin!

Blizzards!
We gave Jacob hist first bite of a DQ Blizzard.
He was not too sure about it at first. Maybe it was the new texture and taste, or maybe it was the cold.
But he decided it was OK after a couple of bites!
He had no problem letting his big sister Andrea give him a few bites.
In the end he decided it was pretty yummy! Hurray for Blizzards!
Mac & Cheese Please!
Today we tried mac-n-cheese for the fist time. It is really funny how kids react to new foods and textures.
You would have thought I put a dog turd in my kids mouth by the faces he made when trying the mac-n-cheese!
He was not too sure what to think about it, so we tried a little at a time between the bites of his baby food.
He actually thought it was kind of fun to play with the mac-n-cheese, so we did a little bit of that too.
Oh and chewing on the high chair was pretty cool.
But in the end, Jacob was a happy little guy, as always!
