Kids Expo

We took Jacob to the Kids Expo last weekend. There was lot's to do and lot's to see. They had a reptile petting zoo that we took Jacob into to check out. I remember when I was about 4 or 5 years old seeing the giant turtle at the zoo and I thought it was so cool. My mom has a picture of me sitting on the back of it. Well our little guy did not think it was nearly as cool as I did (as you can see by the expression on his face)!
But he was a little fascinated by the alligator. He felt a little more confident when daddy or I was there to assist him.
He finally got a little braver and started touching all the animals. Then he thought it was pretty cool. Mommy even held a snake to let him know it was OK.
Oh no! There is that scary turtle again!
They had smaller play areas for kids three and under which was great. Jacob ran around in here for a long time. It was one of his favorite things at the Kids Expo.
Who doesn't love a slide! He must have went up and down this slide 20 times.
All that playing and running around makes a little guy hungry! Nachos were just the thing. Mmmmmmm.........Nachos!
They were handing out these big blow up hammers at the Expo. It was bigger than Jacob. Needless to say, he had a great time terrorizing the dogs, mommy and daddy with his big hammer!

Jacob's first Baseball Game Go P-Pacs

We took Jacob to his first Diamond Backs baseball game. It was a lot of fun!
We were amazed at how well he did. He made it to the 8th inning which is pretty good for a little guy. I can tell you that he loved the food aspect of the game. He had a hot dog, milk, popcorn, peanuts and some frozen yogurt. Who wouldn't love the game with all that food! It was really cute towards the end when daddy was teaching Jacob to say, Go D-Backs" which in Jacob language came out "go P-Pac".
This was before the game in his D-back shirt and hat. One cool kid!

Our Future Runner

I got a new treadmill to work out with at home. My goal is to do the PF Chang half marathon in January 2008. Jacob loves the treadmill and we walk with him on it.
The lowest setting is .5 so that works out perfectly for the little man. He still needs a little assistance from mommy or daddy but that is OK.
Soon he will be running on the treadmill!
