Halloween

My parents Grammy and Grandpa, Grandma Sherry and Andrea came over to see the little guy on his second Halloween. Jacob is a big fan of Elmo so we thought we might try an Elmo costume.
He got this really cute shirt and socks from Grandma Barb that we put on Jacob in case he did not like his costume. The shirt and socks has flashing pumpkins on them that flashed whenever Jacob moved. He thought it was very cool!
Putting on these costumes can be a bit of struggle. Especially when you have a toddler that is not exactly cooperating.
Almost got it on him....
And off it comes! Jacob was not too thrilled with the whole thing. We tried to get him to keep it on, but.....
It started to result in some toddler tears, so we decided it would be best if Elmo just came along for the ride! Thank goodness for the cute Halloween shirt and socks!
So Elmo hung out in the wagon with Jacob as we went out Trick or Treating. Jacob immediately busted into the first bag of candy that he got from our neighbor. It was M&M's. Jacob would yell out WOW! when he got some candy in his pumpkin.

I love this picture of Tim and Jacob. My two favorite guys!
We had a great time and are very thankful to have such great family to spend these special little moments with.

Bath Time Fun

Bath time is always a fun time at our house. One of the things we like to do after brushing our teeth is make some funny hair do's and look in the mirror.Jacob was having a lot of fun and being a ham for the camera!

This one is one of my favorites as he just looks so cute here! Got to love that smile!
Maybe next time we will do a faux-hawk!

Sea World

I will have to warn you that there are a lot of pictures on this post of Jacob's first trip to Sea World. But I did try to keep the posts to the pictures of us verses the animals. We all had a great time. We had so much fun the first day, that we went back a 1/2 day the next day. I think the hardest part was keeping the little man entertained when we were waiting for a show to begin.
This was the show with the otter, the sea lions and the walrus. It was so much fun to watch Jacob have this experience. He was memorized by the animals.

There were a lot of characters throughout the park as we went from place to place. I thought Jacob might be afraid of them as they are so big. Boy was I wrong! He loved them and would run up to see each one.

Jacob sat on my lap when we went to see Shamu. I have great memories as a kids of going to Sea World and seeing Shamu. Jacob was fascinated by Shamu. I totally had one of those sappy mom moments and got all teary eyed when we were watching the show. It was so sweet watching my little guy enjoy something that I loved when I was a kid.

OK - so I had to post one picture of Shamu!

This was the shark adventure. Going through the tunnel was pretty cool for the little man. He loved looking up and seeing all the sharks swim above his head.

Mom fed the sea lions so they would come up close to the glass. The fish were VERY stinky! I mean REALLY stinky! Ahhhhh.....the things we will do for our kids!

One of the best parts of Sea World is the Sesame Street Adventure they have for the little people. Jacob had a blast here! Everything was just his size. He even got Sissy to run through the water with him.

He was having a blast dodging the water that was shooting out of these pillars.

Of course going through tunnels is pretty cool too!

We pretty much got to see all the Sesame Street characters in this area too. Jacob got to say hi to the Count.

Like I said before - no fear! He was so excited!

They had a big soft play area that the kids could run around in and would not get hurt. It was full of big soft blocks that they could carry, or jump on.

This was a good place to run around and have fun in.

I think one of Jacob's favorite thing was to see Elmo. He LOVES Elmo right now! Jacob got so excited when he saw Elmo and he ran right up to him.

We had to hand out with Elmo for a little while and get lots of pictures.

The wade pool was a lot of fun too as you could touch starfish and see all the little creatures up close.

Mom rode the tea cups with Jacob. We had a good time going round and round.

Sissy was always a good sport and took a picture with Cookie Monster.

Jacob fell asleep literally five feet out of the park! He had such a great time and so did we. We are looking forward to our next vacation together!

San Diego Beach Fun

The past two years we have go to San Diego with our friends the Roy's and the Edmund's. It is great fun and the kids love playing together. Jacob was about 10 months old the first time we went and this year he was about 20 months old.

This year was a lot more fun for Jacob as he could run all over the beach!

In true Fulcher form, football is one of Jacob's favorite things to do! He is a Fulcher man through and through!
He did take a short break and sit on mommy's lap - but only for a few minutes! Too much to do and see when you are at the beach!

Of course hanging out with his sissy (Andrea) is always great fun! We are so happy that Andrea can join us on our family vacations. Natalie and Isabel (Kelly and Brian Roy's girls) were super excited that Andrea was there too! They love hanging out with baby Jacob and Andrea!

Jacob was playing with Natalie and Isabel who are in the water in the background - but that didn't last long. Like I said before, there is way too much to do when you are hanging out on the beach!
Pausing for a quick snack! Natalie was kind enough to share her pretzels with Jacob.
