First Time Swimming

Today was the first time that Jacob went swimming. We were at Uncle Tom and Aunt Michelle's house for a barbecue.

Here's Jacob sporting his super cool swim diaper and shades. He is one cool dude!

Uncle Tom and Aunt Michell got each of the kids their very own special float for the pool. Jacob LOVED his floatie as you can see.

He was fascinated by the water and liked hanging on to the handles. It was a perfect floatie for him for sure.

Jacob had a great time moving around the pool with his daddy. It was a good first experience in he pool

This is my favorite picture of Jacob swimming. Kicking back in his floatie, all smiles and happy. Life is good when you are the little man of the family!

Jacob is 6 Months Old!

Wow time sure goes fast! Our baby is 6 months old and growing like a weed. At 6 months he is over 19 pounds and about 26 inches long. I guess we grow them big!

Right now he is teething a lot, so drool is a big part of our day to day lives. As you can see in this picture, the whole front of his shirt is covered in drool.

But we still think Jacob is the cutest baby no matter if he is covered in drool. He is such a happy baby!

I try to sneak in a couple of pictures of me with Jacob from time to time. I am usually the one taking all the pictures, so I have to remember to get in the picture every once in a while.

I just love my little man and love being a mom. It is so amazing and wonderful!

The Mesh Thing

So my mommy got me this super cool mesh thing.

Once I figured out what it was for, I loved it!

Mom puts ice cubes in it and it feels really good on my soar gums since I am teething.

Mom said when i get a little older we can put other stuff in it, like nanna's, frozen grapes, potatoes and other stuff that I could choke on. Mom said it would be safer if I tried these kinds of food in my mesh thing.

I just go with the flow - right now the ice cubes are really fun to chomp on!

Hat and Shades

So mom has been putting hats and sunglasses on me. We are going to San Diego in October and she thinks I need to get used to wearing them now, so I will wear them in San Diego.

Me and dad watching the Diamondbacks on TV. They are our favorite baseball team.
