My mom has been scanning and saving some old pictures. I just had to post this one as I love it so much. This is my mom when she was a little girl not much older than Jacob. Not only do I see myself in this picture, but I see a little of my son.

Girls Weekend

I have been friends with a great group of girls for about 15 years now. We were able to have a little escape this weekend and spend some well deserved time together. I love this group shot of us all!

One of the things we did was a glass blowing experience at the Sonoran Glass and Art Academy and the above are the beautil bowls and vases that we made. My bowl is the bottom one on the left. It was so much fun to have this time together and get a a keep sake of the trip too!

Big Boy Bed

Our little man is growing up! This weekend we had to convert his crib over to a toddler bed. He has been climbing out of his crib and we were afraid that he would injure himself.
we dropped the crib mattress down to the lowest level, and our little monkey still climbed out.
Let's just say that even though Jacob was ready to convert over to a big boy bed, mommy was not. But we can't always wait until mommy is ready. The little people definitely have their own time table and Jacob loves his new bed!

Jacob's Day Care

We love where we have Jacob for his day care, Miss Theressa's house. He is very happy there and has lot's of friends.
There are plenty of toys to play with and keep the kids entertained.
But Jacob's favorite thing is to go outside and play in the backyard. We are going to have to get him his own big boy swing set at home in the near future.
He loves being outside. Rocks and dirt are the best when you are a little guy!
He loves the slide and is fearless! He definitely takes after his dad when it comes to coordination and athleticism thank goodness! We all know how clumsy I am!
Of course Jacob's other favorite thing to do is eat! Thank goodness there are lot's and lot's of snacks at Miss Theressa's house!

DBacks Game With The Haralsons

We went to a DBack game with Bill, Tara and Audrey (aka the Haralson's). The kids has a great time and we were pleasantly surprised that both kids made it through the entire game.

I love this piture of all of us! We had a great time and Jacob in true fashion enjoyed eating all the baseball game food. Popcorn is now one of his most favorite things!

I got to get in some baby snuggle time with Miss Audrey! It won't be long before she is up and walking around.

Both kids had a great time looking around at all the people and all the activity.

I think this pretty much says it all -Yay DBacks!

It was such a great day and a good time was had by all!
