My parents Grammy and Grandpa, Grandma Sherry and Andrea came over to see the little guy on his second Halloween. Jacob is a big fan of Elmo so we thought we might try an Elmo costume.
He got this really cute shirt and socks from Grandma Barb that we put on Jacob in case he did not like his costume. The shirt and socks has flashing pumpkins on them that flashed whenever Jacob moved. He thought it was very cool!
Putting on these costumes can be a bit of struggle. Especially when you have a toddler that is not exactly cooperating.
Almost got it on him....
And off it comes! Jacob was not too thrilled with the whole thing. We tried to get him to keep it on, but.....
It started to result in some toddler tears, so we decided it
would be best if Elmo just came along for the ride! Thank goodness for the cute Halloween shirt and socks!
So Elmo hung out in the wagon with Jacob as we went out Trick or Treating. Jacob
immediately busted into the first bag of candy that he got from our
neighbor. It was M&M's. Jacob would yell out WOW! when
he got some candy in his pumpkin.

We had a great time and are very thankful to have such great family to spend these special little moments with.
