Our good friends John & Dawn had a summer BBQ and swim party at their house. Let me tell you we were thankful for the pool as it has been getting really hot here!
Jacob had a great time playing in the pool. He liked standing on the step with daddy's and sissy's assistance. The water was a good temperature so everyone was in the pool for a while and had a great time.
But Jacob's FAVORITE part was the slide. Now he is too little to go all the way to the top and come down, but daddy did a great job in putting him up on the slide and then Jacob would scoot on down when he was ready.
Here he comes, getting closer and closer to the edge....
Hurray! Daddy caught him! Jacob would laugh and laugh when daddy would catch him. John and Dawn were great hosts and everyone had a good time! The company
was good and the food was good - not to mention the pomegranate
margaritas, YUMMY! We always feel so blessed to have such amazing friends who actively want to be a part of our lives and who love our kids so much.
