My mom's birthday is right around Thanksgiving and actually falls on Turkey Day some years. That was the case this year. Even though she said not to worry about a birthday cake, I could not stand it and made this one early that morning. Going to the grocery store on Thanksgiving morning was an adventure to say the least! But I think her lemmon with raspberry sauce birthday cake was a hit with the family so it was worth it!

This is my mom's mom, our grandmother - we all call her
Monnie. I am so thankful to have such a great family and have them around for Jacob. I can remember my great grandmother so I think it is great that he has two of them around.

Jackson is always a character and lately loves having his picture taken. Both my sisters boys are so cute!
I am rarely in the pictures as I am always the one taking them. Today I remembered to actually get in a few. This is me with my handsome hubby Tim.
